Lyanne and Kyle!

October 5, 2017

I love love love getting photos back from weddings past gone. Such an incredible way to look back and appreciate all the hard work and all the incredible brides who have just blown the beauty factor out of the water this year.

This year we have had a MAJOR focus on natural beauty. I don't think I've touched my airbrush since the spring! This group really shows a perfect example of highlighting what's already there. We had 12 ladies in total to beautify the morning of! Each of different age and all with unique and striking qualities. Everyone wanted natural beauty highlighted. We went with our all natural "Natural Glow Minerals" made right here in Kelowna along with a mixture of our favorite products to create the natural beauty these photos capture. I love how effortlessly flawless everyone looks. One of the biggest rewards from 2017 has been really listening to what my clients want and understanding what "looking natural" means on your wedding day. It's easy as an artist to get carried away and pile on the drama for the photos! We all know we need a lot of makeup for it to truly show on the photos.... but is that what is truly important to the bride? The feedback from my brides this year is that recognizing they're reflection in the mirror while still feeling elegant and beautiful is priority number one!
